I Met Ray!...... No seriously I did.
So I woke up at 8:00 and by 11 somethin' we were out the door, with me, my little sister, dad, and grandma.
We got there a little past 12:00, plenty of time to look around before Ray showed up. The broacher thing said
4-5 interview with the Star's Of Star Wars. The place was pretty cool comics upon comics were there ( duh,
its a comic convention) Well we were nearing the end of the isle and Grace, my sister, asked " Mikaelah do
you want to go forward or in-between the other isles'?" Shrugging my shoulder's I replied with a " Ehh
forward." I got to the end of the isle, turned my head to see which way I wanted to go, and came face-to-face
with Ray. I jumped a little from the shock alone. In my mind I was thinking 3 different things
1. Holy $***! That's Ray Park!
2. What's he doin' here already?
3. YAY he's only 3ft away from me.
As soon as the rest of my family showed up I whispered really excitedly " OMG that's Ray!"
Dad: Huh, I thought that might of been him the way he was talkin' to that other guy.
Sis: I know^_^
Grandma: ( doing a quick double-take) WOW that's him? He looks so much better in person without all that
ugly make-up on. ( Good ol' grandma)
ME: OMG I think my heart just stopped. Can we walk around here for a minute until I can breath properly?
So we walked around the place for a few minutes, me occasionally looking back at him to get used to his
awesomeness. I loved what he was wearin', jeans, sneakers, and a light blue button down t-shirt We were
just about to get to his booth when Grace spotted a Aaron Stanford pin ( He's her fave actor) Well we spent a
few minutes there buyin' it then we went to his both. I paid my money, and shock his head confidently ( I
wasn't nervous, more excited cuz I could feel my heart beatin' like a jack hammer.)
Ray: H'lo
Me: Hi.
Ray: Want me to sign somethin' for ya?
Me: Yeah, could you sign the 'Slayer' pic for me?
Ray: Sure. You know your the first person to choose this one. This is gonna be a movie on Sci Fi.
Dad: (joking about me bein' the first to chose that picture, Ray laughed at that)
Me: I know I can't wait. I love vamps^_^
Ray: Now what's yer name?
ME: Mikealah.
Ray: 'm terrible wif names, how do you spell it?
I spelt it and my dad surprisingly asked " So how long did it take you to get all the make-up done for Darth
Maul?"
Ray: 'bout 2 hours. So it was good. So are you here for the weekend?
Me: No, just for today.
He gave me the autograph, and my grandma asked if I could get a pic with him. He put his arm around me!(
he smelt good) he also said that I was very pretty. I blushed and mumble a thank you. I got the pic with him,
then my sister got in the pic. I can remember him sayin' come 'ere sweety, as he put his arm around her.
We got more pics and I asked how much for the pictures
Ray: ( waving his hand) Don't worry 'bout it. ( OMG HE'S SO NICE!)
We all shook his hand and left.

We walked around a little more, went to the mall beside it, got Subway ( Eat fresh) then came back. I wanted
another autograph so we went back to his booth. I paid for it, this time choosing a Toad pic and handed it to
him. He shook my hand and said
Ray: I remember you! I know your name just give me a minute. ( Thinkin' hard) Oh it's on the tip of my
tongue, I know it.
Dad and Grandma were kinda joking with him about it.
Ray: No, no I really do know it I just can't piece all the letters together. ( He gives up)
Me: Mikaelah.
Ray: THAT'S IT! I just couldn't piece that last few letters together, I'll remember that now.
Grace bought a autograph, and we got more pics my grandma said that they didn't come out well so he was
happy to take some more( I thanked him, then we left again)
It was getting close to the interview thing so we left early to get good seats ( Front row center) A few other
peps were there, one of the guys was in a costume. He got up on stage pulled his sleeve back reviling a
gloved hand with a light saber and said get my good side.
Grandma: ( Whispering to dad) Oh look it's Michael Jackson
DAD: Huh?
Grandma: That guy up there only has one glove.
Dad; Well when he starts doin' the moon walk and going ehehehehehehe then well know. ( Apparently my
dad said that a little to loudly cuz the guy gave my dad a look)
Finally Ray and everyone else arrived. ( I am so glad I choose our seats, despite the fact that my dad
constantly made fun of me for bein' a stalker, I was right in front of Ray)
The interview was really good. I knew that Ray was funny, but I didn't know he was THAT funny. Here are
some things that people asked him, that I can remember
Guy: How was it working with Lucy Lu and Halley Berry?
Ray: They were great, yeah when I was a kid I had a crush on Halley Berry. I told my friends' I'm gonna marry
her." ( I wonder if Lisa knows about that?) Well when he got to work with her in X-men he told us. " Yeah all
these emotions came back, from my high-school crush, and I was incredibly nervous. I'm sayin' Ray get
over with it yer workin' with her.
Guy 2: What was your reaction when you got the part for Darth Maul?
Ray: Well I was driving to a Wushu exhibit with all my teammates ridin' behind me when my manager called
and said Ray I got some news, pull over. Ready to hear it? Ray: Yeah, yeah. Manager:You got the part.
Ray: I was so excited I wanted to take off all my clothes and so backflips along the highway. Course I
couldn't cuz I wouldv'e been arrested. I couldn't tell anyone so I was like a crazy guy on Red Bull. I was all
over the place at the convention, like I was hopped up on gummy bear juice. Well after I got the part it was
nothin' but gummy bear juice and red bull for the rest of the month.
Those were the ones I thought were the best, oh of course they were all funny. What with him talkin' about
his 'Man skirt' - kilt, getting hurt on the Star Wars set, and just doing all these little side voices when he was
talking. HE DID YODA. IT WAS HILLARIOUSE! After that we went back to the convention room.
I wanted to go by him again one more time so we headed over that way. Everyone was kinda lagging behind
but I saw him walking by and I waved. He waved back, then did a double take and yelled ' Mikaelah! That's
right I will deifinently remember you now.' I was super happy, after that we left, went to Perkins then came
back to my grandmas. Story of my life.
oh yeah almost forgot on my Slayer pic he wrote ' Beware I have the taste for blood' ' Do the Best' and on my
Toad one he signed ' Slimed' and ' Yah' probably cuz he tried to remember my name. Best day of my life,
yeah I know your wedding should be, but I can skip my wedding this was way better.
My dad and grandma were really surprised with him. They thought he was gonna be one of thoese 'Yeah
here ya go, next' kind of guys. HE IS NOTHING LIKE THAT! My grandma said he was really down to earth
and stuff like that, and my dad was surprised that he shook his hand before we left. So I was was happy.
